CPS Persuaded to Drop Case Against Moped Rider Who Admitted Drink Driving
Barrister
Year of Qualification: 2016 (Called to the Bar); 2002 (Admitted to the Roll)
I am a practising barrister who has specialised in criminal litigation for over 15 years. I am a vastly experienced courtroom advocate having represented clients charged with an especially wide array of differing criminal charges. I am equally experienced as a trial advocate having conducted my first Crown Court jury trial back in 2006.
I have had the advantage of specialising in the bringing of Crown prosecutions for approximately 4 years. This means that I have a thorough understanding of the duties and roles of the Crown Prosecution Service.
This ability to anticipate the likely thought processes of prosecution lawyers, enables me to provide especially insightful legal advice to my clients as to how best to approach a particular set of criminal proceedings.
I have been admitted onto the official ‘List of Specialist Regulatory Advocates in Health and Safety and Environmental Law’ as maintained by the Health & Safety Executive, Environment Agency, Office for Nuclear Regulation, Care Quality Commission, Office of Rail and Road and Natural Resources Wales.
I previously received further recognition within this field when included in the Legal 500 directory as a ‘rising star’ who is ‘…. hard-working, tenacious and knowledgeable.’
I am well-schooled in advocacy training and have taught advocacy as part of the Middle Temple’s advocacy training team.
